The RPLIDAR A1M8 is like a pair of eyes for your robot, letting it see everything in a full circle around itself. This advanced 360 Degree LiDAR Scanner spins around and uses a laser to quickly measure distances to objects up to 12 meters away.
It creates a digital map of its surroundings, which is super useful if you're building a robot that needs to move around a room, avoid bumping into things, or even clean your house automatically. It takes up to 8000 distance readings every single second, so the maps it makes are quite detailed.
