4. How to install the Raspberry Pi camera?

It is best to install the camera to the Raspberry Pi without the extra boards. In other words, remove the Pi from the GoPiGo, or the GrovePi board, in order to have  just the Pi. The Raspberry Pi Camera Board is a custom designed add-on module for Raspberry Pi hardware. The camera board is connected to the Raspberry Pi via a 15 way ribbon cable. The flex cable of the ribbon inserts into the connector situated between the Ethernet and HDMI ports, with the silver connectors facing the HDMI port. The flex cable connector should be opened by pulling the tabs on the top of the connector upwards then towards the Ethernet port. The flex cable should be inserted firmly into the connector, with care taken not to bend the flex at too acute an angle. The top part of the connector should then be pushed towards the HDMI connector and down, while the flex cable is held in place. On the camera PCB,  you need to make sure that the blue backing faces away from the PCB and the raspberry side should be  facing towards the ethernet connection.
