1. What is an extruder?

  • One of the most important components of a 3D printer is the extruder. It is the component of the 3D printer that is in charge of drawing in, melting, and pushing out the filament. It is commonly referred to as a "fancy hot glue gun." In some cases, it is used to deposit a bonding agent in order to solidify the powdered material.

2.What is a Heat Block?

  • The heating block of a 3D printer is the section of the extruder where the nozzle meets the thermal barrier tube. The heater cartridge and thermocouple are also housed within the heating block.

3.What is a Timing belts?

  • Timing belts are made of rubber and have hard teeth that can interlock with the pulley. Timing Belts have long been used to generate linear motion, timing synchronization, torque, speed conversion, and so on.

4.What is a Stepper Motor?

  • The print head in most 3D printers is moved by a specific type of motor. Stepper motors are so named because they rotate in discrete steps. This allows for precise control over how far the motor turns and how far the print head moves.

5.What is the use of a Nozzles in a 3D printer?

  • The 3D printer nozzle is the mechanical component that extrudes the filament. It transfers thermal energy from the heating cartridge and block to the filament, melting it.

6.What is a lead screw?

  • A lead screw is a type of mechanical power transmission used in high-precision actuation machines. It is used to convert rotational motion into linear motion. A lead screw (or leadscrew) is also known as a power screw and a translation screw.

7. How much is a 3d printer cost?

  • The cost of a 3D printer in India can vary drastically depending on the type and specific manufacturer. Low-end options may start out as low as Rs 10,000 to 18,000 while professional grade printers could range anywhere from 40 thousand upwards into lakhs. It depends on various aspects such as build volume (the space dedicated for printing), speed or build rate at which it prints an object, layer resolution which is a measure of accuracy & also intricacy you need to produce parts to have. There are certain factors like extruder temperature control etc..  Additionally print quality should be another specification factor taken into consideration when choosing with high-end Fused Deposition modelling technique requiring more precision than simpler implementations for instance stereolithography technology so prices tend to increase accordingly. Finally, there’s service backup support provided by the company along with a warranty period that must be kept in mind before making a purchase decision freeing any hiccups during operation. Thus having all these things accounted one should not expect too cheap an option despite many budget offers available online & experienced personnel counsel shall go a long way toward ensuring the best value buy product within your means!
