DFRobot Multi-output DC-DC Buck Converter Module (3.3V/5V/9V/12V)
The DFRobot Multi-output DC-DC Buck Converter Module efficiently steps down 7.5V–30V input to selectable output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 9V, or 12V (default 5V), making it ideal for projects requiring multiple power levels.
Output voltage selection is simple—just short the corresponding pads on the back. Designed to handle up to 5A load current (with proper heat dissipation), it features built-in over-temperature and overload protection (triggered at 70°C).
An onboard LED indicator provides real-time status—solid red for normal operation and off when protection is activated. This versatile power module is perfect for powering LEDs, robotics, drones, servos, and low-power motors in multi-voltage control systems.
Instructions:
The module defaults to 5V output, with the 5V solder pad short-circuited. To change the output voltage to other options like 3.3V, simply disconnect the 5V pad and short-circuit the 3.3V solder pad.
Note: As this is a step-down converter, the input voltage must always be higher than the desired output. It operates best with a voltage difference of 2V or more.
Note: The output parameters are measured at 25 ?, and the heat dissipation (heat sinks) is required for continuous large current load.
