Cytron Maker Line Sensor for Beginner
The Cytron Maker Line Sensor is a beginner-friendly line tracking sensor designed to simplify the process of building line-following robots or automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
Known for its ease of use, the Maker Line Sensor Module features a 5x IR sensor array that can detect line widths between 13mm and 30mm. Whether your application requires tracking light (white) or dark (black) lines, this Cytron Line Sensor has you covered.
Gone are the days of manually adjusting each sensor’s potentiometer—thanks to its one-touch calibration system. Just press and hold the calibrate button for 2 seconds, sweep the sensor across the line, press again, and it's calibrated. Calibration data is stored in EEPROM, meaning it remains even after powering off, making setup a one-time process unless major changes are made.
The Maker Line Sensor Module offers dual output modes: five digital outputs for individual sensor states and a single analog output that provides high-resolution line position data. This analog capability is especially useful for precision tasks like PID-controlled robots.
Whether you're a student, hobbyist, or engineer, the Cytron Maker Line Sensor is the reliable and accurate tool you need for your next line-following project.
