I like these sensors very much
Both sensors work really well and accurately, making sure they detect things precisely every time. They never seem to have any issues and always work perfectly.

The HC-SR501 PIR Motion Sensor Module allows you to sense motion. It is almost always used to detect the motion of a human body within the sensor’s range. It is often referred to as “PIR”, “Pyroelectric”, “Passive Infrared” and “IR Motion Sensor” sensors. The PIR Motion sensor module has an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens.
The PIR Sensor has a delay time adjustment Potentiometer and a sensitivity adjustment Potentiometer. Repeat Trigger Selection Jumper is also available. Compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NODE MCU, PIC, 8051, etc.
The IR Proximity Sensor module has great adaptive capability of the ambient light, having a pair of infrared transmitters and a receiver tube, the infrared emitting tube emits a certain frequency, encounters an obstacle detection direction (reflecting surface), and infrared reflected back to the receiver tube receiving, after a comparator circuit processing, the green LED lights up, while the signal output will output digital signal (a low-level signal), through the potentiometer knob to adjust the detection distance, the effective distance range 2 ~ 10cm working voltage of 3.3V-5V.
The detection range of the PIR sensor can be adjusted by the potentiometer, with little interference, easy to assemble, easy-to-use features that can be widely used for robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car assembly line count, black-and-white line tracking, and many other occasions.
