1. How is a jumper wire used in a circuit?
- Jumper wires are simply wires with connector pins at each end that can be used to connect two points without soldering. Jumper wires are commonly used with breadboards and other prototyping tools to allow for easy circuit changes as needed.
2. What is the difference between male and female jumper wires?
- The difference between them is in the wire's endpoint. Male ends have a protruding pin and can plug into things, whereas female ends do not but can also plug into things. A male connector is referred to as a plug and has a solid pin for center conduction.
3. What is female to male wire?
- A male connector, also known as a plug, has a solid pin for a centre conductor. A female connector, also known as a jack, has a centre conductor with a hole in it to accept the male pin.
4. Why do you need jumper cables in Arduino?
- Jumper wires are used to connect items on your breadboard to the header pins on your Arduino. We will use them to connect all of our circuits
5. How many types of jumper wires are there?
