The Mini Solderless Breadboard is a solderless device for a temporary prototypes with electronics and test circuit designs. It consists of 17 columns of ten holes, divided into two pairs by a central notch and labelled 1 to 17.
A breadboard (also known as a plug block) is used to create temporary circuits. It is useful to designers because it allows components to be removed and replaced easily. It is useful for someone who wants to build a circuit to demonstrate how it works before reusing the components in another circuit.
The holes in a breadboard are connected by metal clips that span five holes, horizontally. Each row of five holes can be connected using these metal clips. A terminal strip has no vertical connections. Horizontal rows on either side of the center groove are also unconnected.
