GPS GNSS Antenna for Raspberry Pi HAT
This GPS/GLONASS GNSS Antenna is specifically designed for applications that require precise positioning accuracy by combining signals from GPS and GLONASS systems. Its compact size makes it suitable for use in environments with limited space. With its 3-meter long cable, this antenna can be utilized to improve GPS signal reception in indoor projects using Raspberry Pi HAT or Arduino Shield.
The antenna features a high-gain wide-band patch antenna with an integral ground, ensuring consistent performance. Its enclosure is fully waterproof with an IP67 rating and is resistant to UV damage, allowing for outdoor use. The antenna's configuration includes a mid SAW filter, which effectively eliminates the risk of LNA burn-out caused by nearby out-of-band radiated power bursts from other antennas in close proximity. Furthermore, the manufacturing process adheres to strict first-tier Automotive quality control standards.
For temporary placement, the antenna is equipped with a flat magnetic surface that keeps it securely in place. Alternatively, it can be permanently affixed to any surface using double-sided tape.
Features:
- The antenna assembly consists of a patch antenna for receiving GNSS signals and a preamplifier for signal amplification.
- Power supply to the antenna preamplifier must be provided by the application on the same RF signal trace as the GNSS RF signal is carried to the application.
- The antenna has an internal magnet so that it can be fixed on a metallic surface.
- Easy to use an antenna. Does not require RF or antenna knowledge.
