18650 12V 10A Lithium Battery Protection Board

This protection board is three series of lithium battery protection board. The PCB protection board is suitable for lithium battery pack of 11.1V, 12V, 12.6V. Its quiescent current less 30uA, so the power consumption is small. The function of this PCB battery protection board includes overcharge protection, over discharge protection, short circuit protection, over-current protection. And after protection conditions restore, it will automatically cancel protection. The PCB protection board is small in size and suitable for many applications requiring high integration and low cost. It can meet various performance requirements and ensure the absolute safety and reliability of the battery pack.

Notes: If discharge product is higher than 3A current, the discharge rate of battery discharge is above 3C. Secondly, in the process of use, if the battery heat, the battery power is not applicable. This situation cannot be used for a long time. Otherwise, the battery will soon be damaged.

1. How many 18650 batteries do I need for 12V?

If you want to create a 12V battery pack using 18650 batteries, you will need to link a minimum of three cells in a series connection. Each 18650 cell has the capacity to charge up to 4.2V, so connecting three cells in a series would provide a total of 12.6V output. Some other sources also recommend using three cells in a series connection to obtain a 12V output.

2. What is the charging voltage of 3S 10A BMS?

Typically, the charging voltage range for a 3S 10A BMS used for a lithium-ion battery is from 12.6V to 13V.

3. What is 18650 current protection?

18650 current protection is a set of safety measures incorporated into certain 18650 batteries that guard against potential hazards like overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, overcurrent, and temperature-related issues. The protection features can involve a protection circuit board (PCB) that thwarts over-discharge, overcharge, and overcurrent, or a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) that restricts high current surges and shields against high-pressure and over-temperature situations. The use of protected 18650 batteries in devices is deemed safer and reduces the risk of causing harm to individuals or property.
