Uses and Applications of a Berg Strip

Berg strips can transmit both power and data almost all circuit module, including GSM modules, GPS modules, Xbee modules, LCD modules, and circuit boards, use a Berg strip as connectors. Berg strips are available in two main forms namely male and female connectors, and each has a predetermined number of pins. The designer then removes all but the required pins and links them to the circuit board. It can also be used as a wire-to-board connector, this can be done by simply soldering one of the connector pins to the wire and securing the other connector to the circuit board. It can also function as a wire-to-wire connector if one solders wires to the pins on both sides of the pair. They are commonly used as board-to-board connectors. This is done by soldering the male connector around the perimeter of the circuit board and the female connector is assembled wherever another board is to be connected.
