The Waveshare Industrial USB to RS485 Bidirectional Converter is a robust and reliable communication interface designed for industrial applications. Featuring the original CH343G USB bus adapter chip and high-performance SP485EEN transceivers, this converter ensures stable, high-speed communication with excellent compatibility.
It converts USB signals into balanced differential RS485 signals, offering transmission speeds from 300bps up to 3Mbps and a communication range of up to 1.2km for RS485 and 5 meters for USB.
Built-in protection circuits, including lightning-proof tube, resettable fuse, ESD, and TVS protection, enhance durability and safeguard against harsh electrical environments.
Supporting automatic baud rate recognition up to 115200bps, the converter allows easy integration of traditional serial devices or microcontrollers into modern USB interfaces, making it an ideal solution for industrial automation, monitoring systems, and other serial communication projects.
