TCRT5000L 5-Channel Infrared Line Tracking Sensor Module
The TCRT5000L 5-Channel Infrared Line Tracking Sensor Module is a compact and practical IR tracking module designed for line-following robots, smart cars, and DIY robotics projects. It uses five TCRT5000L infrared reflection sensors to continuously emit infrared light toward the surface and detect the reflected signal using an infrared receiver.
The resulting analog values change according to the distance and colour of the object or surface, allowing a microcontroller to determine the position of a tracking line by comparing the outputs from all five channels. This 5-channel line follower sensor can be easily integrated with Arduino and other controller-based projects, making it suitable for robot navigation, autonomous vehicles, educational robotics, and hands-on sensor experiments.
Connection:
-
VCC: VCC is the power input port, which could access 3.3V ~ 5V voltage
-
GND: GND is the negative input of the power supply
-
OUT1 ~ 5: OUT is the signal output port, MCU link I / O port
Features:
- Suitable for multiple platforms, such as Arduino, AVR, ARM, and PIC
- Superior Tracker Sensor
- Eight pairs of uniformly spaced infrared emitters and receivers can be conveniently carried by this module.
- 15 mm separates each infrared sensor.
- For optimal resolution, five sensors are used.
