Mini OSD Module with Plastic Case for APM 2.6 and APM 2.8
The Mini OSD Module with Plastic Case for APM 2.6 and APM 2.8 is a compact on-screen display board designed to help drone enthusiasts monitor essential flight telemetry during FPV flights. Compatible with ArduPilot Mega flight controllers, this Arduino-based OSD module reads MAVLink telemetry data from the APM system and overlays it onto a video feed when used with an onboard camera and wireless video transmitter.
This allows pilots to view flight information directly on their FPV screen without needing to carry a laptop to the flying field or constantly check Mission Planner. The module features an ATmega328P 8-bit microcontroller with an Arduino bootloader and a MAX7456 monochrome on-screen display chip for video data overlay.
Programming is supported through an FTDI-compatible 6-pin cable, making it suitable for configuration and development in compatible setups. With its small form factor and protective plastic case, this APM Mini OSD board is a practical addition to DIY drone projects, FPV systems, and ArduPilot-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications.
Features:
- Equipped with an ATmega328P microcontroller preloaded with an Arduino bootloader.
- Features a MAX7456 monochrome on-screen display (OSD) chip.
- Supports an FTDI-compatible cable connection.
- Includes a standard 6-pin ISP header, which is not pre-soldered.
- Provides two separate power sections, each with its own LED indicator.
