The touch screen LCD display consists of a backlight assembly, an LCD matrix, and may contain additional layers on the front to add a glossy effect or diffuse reflection, or a touchscreen layer on top. Once the LCD is damaged, you will need to replace it with a new LCD.

4. How do I connect my touch screen to my Raspberry Pi 4?

• Take these actions to link your Raspberry Pi 4 to your touchscreen:

1. Step 1: Attach the touchscreen display's ribbon wire to the Raspberry Pi.
2. Step 2: You might need to use screws or other fasteners to secure the Raspberry Pi to the display controller.
3. Step 3: To add more power or communication connections, you might need to attach jumper wires between the Raspberry Pi and the display controller.
4. Step 4: Attach the ribbon cable's end to the suitable Raspberry Pi port.
