The Waveshare Industrial CH343G USB to RS232/RS485/TTL Isolated Interface Converter is designed to provide reliable communication between computers, industrial controllers, and serial devices using USB, RS232, RS485, and TTL/UART interfaces. It uses an original CH343G chip for stable USB communication and supports a data rate of 300bps to 921600bps, while the USB interface operates at 5V through a USB-B connector.
The converter features built-in power supply isolation and digital isolation, helping reduce interference between connected devices. Its RS485 interface uses A+, B-, and GND terminals with hardware-based automatic direction control and supports point-to-multipoint communication for up to 32 nodes.
The TTL interface supports 3.3V and 5V levels, with TXD, RXD, GND, and 5V/3.3V connections. For added protection in demanding environments, the converter incorporates TVS protection, ESD protection, surge suppression, a 200mA resettable fuse, and protection diodes.
Its aluminium alloy enclosure provides a sturdy solution for industrial control, serial communication, equipment debugging, and other applications requiring an isolated USB to RS232, RS485, or TTL converter.
