Waveshare Industrial 8-Ch Analog Acquisition Module with 12-Bit High-Precision Voltage & Current
The Waveshare 8-Ch Analog Acquisition Module is an industrial-grade 8-channel analog input module designed for accurate monitoring and data collection from voltage and current sensors. It provides 12-bit resolution, a sampling accuracy of ≤3%, and an update rate of 25Hz, allowing all 8 channels to be acquired simultaneously. The module supports configurable input ranges of 0–5V, 1–5V, 0–20mA, and 4–20mA, with both single-ended and differential input modes.
Communication is handled through RS485 using the standard Modbus RTU protocol, with baud rates from 4800 to 256000 bps and a default setting of 9600, N, 8, 1. It operates from a wide DC 7–36V power supply and supports device addresses from 1–255, making it suitable for multi-device RS485 networks. Built-in power isolation, magnetic signal isolation, TVS protection, a resettable fuse, and protection circuitry improve reliability in industrial environments.
