The Waveshare ESP32-S3 7-Inch LCD Display Development Board combines a powerful ESP32-S3 microcontroller, a large 7-inch 800 × 480 IPS LCD display, and wireless connectivity in a compact development platform. Its 32-bit Xtensa LX7 dual-core processor operates at up to 240 MHz, while 16 MB Flash and 8 MB PSRAM provide sufficient resources for responsive embedded applications and graphical interfaces.
The display offers 65K colors, a 170° viewing angle, and 345 cd/m² brightness, making it suitable for interactive dashboards and visual control interfaces. The touch version adds 5-point capacitive touch for intuitive user interaction.
With 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5 (BLE), along with CAN, RS485, I²C, USB, TF card, and UART connectivity, this ESP32-S3 development board with display is well suited for IoT projects, HMI development, smart home systems, industrial control panels, and GUI applications using LVGL. It operates from Type-C 5 V power with a typical power consumption of 5 V / 450 mA.
