The Waveshare CM4-ETH-RS485-BOX-B-EU Dual ETH Mini Computer is a compact industrial computing platform designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, combining dual Ethernet networking with 4-channel isolated RS485 communication in a convenient enclosed form factor. It features 1 × Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port and 1 × 100M Ethernet RJ45 port, along with 2 × USB 2.0 Type-A interfaces for peripheral connectivity.
For industrial communication and automation projects, the 4 × isolated RS485 channels provide multi-channel serial communication, while the 7–36V DC wide-voltage input supports flexible power integration. The unit also provides 1 × HDMI port with 4K 30fps output, 2 × MIPI CSI-2 camera interfaces, an RTC with battery socket, a MicroSD card slot for CM4 Lite variants, and a 5V fan header.
