The Waveshare ST3025 40kg.cm Metal Serial Bus Servo is a high-performance actuator designed for robotics projects that require high torque, accurate positioning, and closed-loop motion control. Powered by a brushless motor and equipped with a 12-bit 360° magnetic encoder, it provides precise angle control with a resolution of 0.088°.
The servo delivers up to 40kg.cm torque at 12V and supports a wide 6–12.6V operating voltage range, making it suitable for applications such as robotic arms, quadruped robots, hexapod walkers, humanoid robots, camera gimbals, and other advanced robotic systems. Its serial bus architecture supports control of multiple servos while providing real-time feedback on position, load, speed, voltage, current, and temperature.
With programmable middle-position calibration and selectable angle servo, speed closed-loop motor, and step modes, this high torque robotic servo motor offers the flexibility needed for both prototyping and complex motion-control applications.
