The Waveshare ST3215-HS 20kg·cm High-Torque Bus Servo Motor is a high-speed programmable servo motor designed for robotics and other applications that require accurate, closed-loop motion control. It delivers up to 20kg·cm torque at 12V and a maximum no-load speed of 106RPM (0.094 sec/60°), providing a useful combination of strength and responsive movement.

Its 360° magnetic encoder offers a position sensor resolution of 360°/4096, enabling precise angle control across the full rotation range. The motor operates from 6–12.6V and uses high-precision metal gears for reliable mechanical performance. With Servo mode for precise positioning and Motor mode for continuous rotation, it can adapt to different robotic mechanisms and motion requirements.

The built-in two-way feedback provides real-time position, load, speed, and input voltage information, making it suitable for closed-loop robotic applications. Its UART serial bus supports a baud rate of 38400bps to 1Mbps, with up to 253 bus servo motors theoretically controllable on a single bus when the power supply is adequate.
