UART Mux 4 Channel Breakout Board (SN74LV4052) -7Semi
The 7Semi UART Mux 4 Channel Breakout Board features the SN74LV4052 dual 4-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer, allowing seamless switching between multiple UART devices using a single microcontroller UART interface.
Designed to operate across a broad voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V, this board supports both analog and digital signal types, making it versatile for various UART communication applications.
Its efficient multiplexing capability simplifies the management of multiple UART connections, enhancing system flexibility and reducing wiring complexity.
How It Works:
The UART Mux board has a simple but effective design. The two control pins on the slide switch select which of the four accessible outputs will receive the signal from the single UART input. These control pins, labeled A and B, can be used by 3.3V and 5V MCUs, ensuring compatibility with your desired configuration.
Features:
-
Effortless UART Switching: Easily control the flow of your UART signals by switching effortlessly between four outputs.
-
Dual four-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer: Powered by the Texas Instruments SN74LV4052A for dependable and efficient signal routing.
-
