DFRobot micro:Driver - micro:bit Driver Expansion Board
The micro:Driver Expansion Board is the perfect companion for your micro:bit, UNIHIKER M10, or K10 microcontroller.
This versatile micro:bit driver expansion board uses an I2C external drive chip to control motors and servos while occupying only two I2C pins, leaving other resources free for your project.
With the HR8833 motor driver chip providing up to 1.5A continuous current, you can easily power small motors and N20 mini metal motors for your robotics projects. The board features helpful positive and negative rotation indicators, making it simple for students and makers to identify motor direction.
This powerful STEM robotics accessory not only extends your micro:bit's capabilities with 9 GPIO interfaces but also provides 4 motor drives and 8 servo interfaces.
The extended GPIO and servo interfaces use the DFRobot-Gravity standard, supporting numerous modules and sensors. Servo interfaces connect directly to the Vin power supply, providing enough current to run multiple servos simultaneously.
With support for 3.5V to 5.5V power through a DC 2.1 plug or wiring terminal, this servo controller board can be powered by three dry batteries or a power bank using the included USB to DC 2.1 adapter cable.
