The Winsen MP-4-24V Methane Gas Sensor Module for CH₄ Detection is a high-performance methane gas sensor designed to detect CH₄ (methane) and other combustible natural gases with excellent sensitivity and stability. It utilizes metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) sensing technology combined with an advanced planar construction for dependable gas detection.
The sensing element consists of a subminiature Al₂O₃ ceramic plate, integrated heater, electrodes, and a durable metal base with a protective metal cap. As the concentration of methane gas increases, the sensor's conductivity rises accordingly, allowing a simple electronic circuit to convert this conductivity change into a corresponding gas concentration output signal.
This CH₄ gas sensor module is ideal for gas leakage alarms, industrial monitoring, smart safety systems, and embedded electronics projects requiring accurate methane gas detection.
