The Waveshare 800 × 480 7inch HDMI LCD (B) is a compact 7-inch capacitive touch screen display designed for Raspberry Pi, mini PCs and computer-monitor applications. It delivers an 800 × 480 hardware resolution through its HDMI interface and provides responsive 5-point capacitive touch control through USB.
When paired with Raspberry Pi, the display supports Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, WIN10 IoT and Retropie, while PC users can use it with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7. Its low-power design includes backlight control, allowing the backlight to be switched off when not required. The display also incorporates EMI and ESD protection and a USB protocol translator for smooth multi-point touch operation.
With its combination of HDMI connectivity, capacitive touch and broad system compatibility, this Waveshare 7-inch HDMI LCD is well suited for Raspberry Pi projects, DIY interfaces, mini PC systems, embedded displays and interactive electronics applications.
