The Waveshare ESP32-S3-ETH-8DI-8RO is an industrial-grade 8-channel WiFi relay module designed for IoT automation, remote control, and industrial monitoring applications. At its core is an ESP32-S3 microcontroller with a dual-core Xtensa 32-bit LX7 processor running at up to 240 MHz, along with 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth LE for wireless connectivity.
The module combines 8 relay channels, 8 isolated digital inputs, an isolated RS485 interface, and Ethernet connectivity, making it suitable for controlling and monitoring multiple devices from a single controller. The PoE variant additionally supports IEEE 802.3af PoE, allowing network communication and power to be delivered through Ethernet.
With optocoupler isolation, digital signal isolation, power isolation, wide 7–36V input support, USB Type-C connectivity, and a rail-mount ABS enclosure, this ESP32-S3 relay board provides a practical solution for smart factory systems, building automation, industrial IoT, and other connected control applications.
