The Waveshare 5inch IPS DSI 800×480 Capacitive LCD (B) is a compact Raspberry Pi touch display designed for projects that need a responsive graphical interface without occupying the board's 40-pin GPIO header. It features a 5-inch IPS panel with an 800 × 480 resolution, a 160° viewing angle, and a DSI display interface for direct connection to compatible Raspberry Pi boards.
Its capacitive touch panel supports up to 5-point touch, while the toughened glass surface has a hardness of up to 6H for improved durability. The display supports refresh rates of up to 60Hz and allows brightness adjustment through software.
It is compatible with Raspberry Pi 5, 4B, 3B+, 3A+, 3B, 2B, B+, A+, CM3, CM3+ and CM4, making it useful for Raspberry Pi dashboards, control panels, portable computers, smart home interfaces, kiosks and other interactive DIY electronics projects.
