Waveshare 5 inch HDMI Resistive Touchscreen Display
The 5-inch Resistive Touch Screen LCD display provides various support systems such as Raspberry Pi, Banana Pi, Banana Pro, BeagleBone Black, etc. This Resistive Touch Screen display supports Windows 10/8.1/8/7 OS. For the Windows 10/8.1/8 OS. This LCD display can support Raspbian / Ubuntu / Kali / Retropie and WIN10 IoT systems. When the LCD display works on systems such as Raspberry Pi, the resolution must be set manually, otherwise, it will cause an abnormal display. There is no such problem when the LCD works on the PC version of Windows.
The built-in HDMI interface enables the Waveshare display to work as a computer monitor just like any other HDMI screen. The Touch Screen display comes with a preloaded Raspbian driver and Ubuntu image. The 800x480 high-resolution display has separate interfaces for touch control and display control. While the display is controlled over the HDMI interface the touch control is done via USB interface. To reduce the power consumption backlight of the display can be switched on/off as per user preference.
