The SmartElex TPS63060 5V USB Buck-Boost Module – 500mA is a compact and high-efficiency buck boost module designed to provide a stable 5V output from input voltages ranging from 3V to 12V.
Powered by a 2A internal switch, this 5V buck boost converter can deliver up to 500mA from a 3V source and at least 1000mA from a 12V source, making it ideal for battery-powered and portable electronics. Its synchronous operation allows complete output disconnection using the Enable pin, ensuring zero output power consumption when disabled.
With over 90% efficiency, low heat generation, and ultra-low quiescent current (5mA enabled, 20µA disabled), it is well-suited for USB-powered DIY projects, embedded systems, and efficient power management applications.
