The SmartElex SIM7600E 4G LTE Dongle + Development Board is a compact cellular communication platform designed for IoT, telemetry, industrial automation, remote monitoring, and tracking applications. Powered by the SIM7600E LTE Cat-1 module, the board supports 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G networks, enabling reliable wireless data communication across a wide range of deployments. Its compact form factor and integrated design make it suitable for rapid prototyping as well as commercial embedded applications.
At the core of the board is the ATSAMD21G18A microcontroller, which works alongside the SIM7600E modem to provide processing and communication capabilities. The board includes a Micro SIM slot, USB Type-C connectivity, dedicated LTE and GNSS antenna connectors, and support for multiple communication interfaces including UART, USB 2.0, SPI, I2C, Keypad, and PCM. These features allow seamless integration with sensors, controllers, gateways, and embedded systems.
The development board supports numerous networking and communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, POP3, and MMS, making it ideal for cloud-connected devices and industrial IoT solutions. Additional features such as VoLTE support, USB firmware upgrades, GNSS connectivity, and AT command control provide developers with a flexible and scalable platform for building advanced wireless communication systems.
