SmartElex ADXL345 Triple-Axis Accelerometer Breakout
The SmartElex Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout is based on the ADXL345, a low-power 3-axis digital accelerometer designed to measure acceleration and motion along the X, Y and Z axes. It supports selectable measurement ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g and provides digital data through I2C or SPI interfaces.
The ADXL345 also includes useful motion-detection functions such as single- and double-tap detection, activity/inactivity monitoring and free-fall detection. Its compact breakout format makes it suitable for robotics, motion tracking, tilt sensing, navigation and embedded electronics projects
