MQ-131 Ozone Gas Sensor Module – High-Level Gas Detection
The MQ-131 Ozone Gas Sensor Module is a sensitive and practical ozone sensor module designed for detecting ozone (O₃) in the surrounding environment. It uses SnO₂ as its sensing material, which has relatively low conductivity in clean air but increases in conductivity when exposed to ozone. This change can be measured through a simple electronic circuit and converted into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
The MQ-131 ozone gas sensor also shows sensitivity to gases such as chlorine (Cl₂) and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), making it useful for a variety of gas detection and environmental monitoring projects. It can be integrated with Arduino and other microcontroller-based systems for DIY ozone gas detector, air-quality monitoring, and gas-sensing applications.
Features:
- Fast response characteristics.
- Mounting holes allow for a more permanent placement.
- The probe's plug design allows for easy testing.
- The signal light indicates the output.
- Dual signal output (analog and TTL-level output).
- TTL output valid signal is low (low output signal light, accessible via the microcontroller's IO port)
- Analog output grows with the concentration; the higher the voltage, the greater the concentration.
- The ozone gas with high sensitivity (detection concentration range: 10PPB-2PPM Ozone)
- Long life and consistent steadiness.
