Digital Voltmeter Ammeter DC 100V 100A Dual Led Voltage Monitor Panel (Without Shunt)

This is Red-Blue LED Digital Dual DC 100V 100A Ammeter Voltmeter. This meter will measure up to 100 VDC with a 0.1-volt resolution. One thing to note is, this meter has 2 wiring harnesses. One harness is to provide power for the meters, that’s the 2 poles with a RED and a BLACK lead. Small size, portable, the magnitudes of voltage and current are displayed on the same screen at the same time.
This can be supplied anywhere from 6 volts DC up to 30 VDC. Maximum Input Voltage should not exceed 30V otherwise there is a danger of burning

Note : Shunt resistor is not included with this product

1.How do digital ammeters and voltmeters work?

  • A shunt resistor is used in digital ammeter designs to produce a calibrated voltage proportional to the current flowing. This voltage is then measured by a digital voltmeter using an analog-to-digital converter (ADC); the digital display is calibrated to display the current flowing through the shunt.

2.What is the working Principle of ammeter?

  • The magnetic effect of current drives the ammeter's principle, which states that resistance and inductive reactance must be low. An ammeter is made up of a wire coil and a fixed permanent magnet. As a result, an ammeter cannot be connected in a parallel line.

3.Is ammeter DC or AC?

  • The ammeter, a device used to measure direct (DC) or alternating (AC) electric current in amperes. An ammeter can measure a wide range of current values because at high values only a small portion of the current is directed through the metre mechanism; the majority is carried by a shunt connected in parallel with the metre.
