DFRobot Gravity Analog TDS Water Quality Sensor/Meter for Arduino
The DFRobot Gravity Analog TDS Water Quality Sensor is an Arduino-compatible sensor designed to measure the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water, offering a practical way to monitor water cleanliness.
This easy-to-use TDS sensor is ideal for domestic water testing, hydroponics, and other water quality applications, helping you build your own DIY water monitoring system. With a wide voltage input range (3.3V to 5.5V) and analog voltage output (0–2.3V), it is compatible with most 3.3V or 5V microcontrollers.
Unlike traditional TDS pens, this sensor transmits real-time data to your control system. It uses an AC signal to reduce probe polarization, extending its lifespan and improving measurement stability.
Waterproof and durable, the TDS probe can be immersed long-term, making it perfect for continuous water quality analysis.
Important Guidelines
- Do not use the probe in water temperatures above 55°C.
- Avoid placing the probe too close to the container’s edge, as it may affect reading accuracy.
- While the probe head and cable are waterproof, the connector and signal transmitter board are not—handle with care to avoid water damage.
Features
- Supports wide voltage input from 3.3V to 5.5V
- Outputs a 0~2.3V analog signal, compatible with both 5V and 3.3V controllers
- AC excitation source prevents probe polarization and enhances stability
- Waterproof TDS probe suitable for continuous immersion
- Easy to use with Arduino: plug-and-play design, no soldering required
