7Semi Vikram 3020D 7V-32V 20A Dual-Channel Brushed DC Motor Driver
The 7Semi Vikram 3020D 7V-32V 20A Dual-Channel Brushed DC Motor Driver is a high-current dual-channel DC motor driver designed to control two brushed DC motors independently. With a wide 7V to 32V operating voltage range and support for up to 20A current, it can handle a variety of high-power motor applications.
Each motor channel features dedicated direction and PWM control, allowing precise control over motor speed and rotation. This makes the module a practical choice for differential-drive robots, AGVs, robotic vehicles, automated machinery, industrial actuators, and motion-control systems.
Its dual-channel design simplifies the control of two motors from a single motor driver module, making it suitable for robotics, automation, and other projects that require reliable and flexible brushed DC motor control.
Features of Protection:
- When an output fault or excessive motor current is detected, Overcurrent Protection (OCP) guards the power stage.
- When the supply voltage drops below the necessary operating level, VM Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) stops unstable motor activity.
- When the module hits the 120°C thermal shutdown limit, Thermal Shutdown (TSD) turns off the motor.
Features:
- Brushed DC motor driver with two channels
- individually powers two brushed DC motors
- Forward and backward motor control in both directions
- Continuous output current of 20A per channel
- Eightya maximum output current of one second per channel
- DC motor supply range tested: 7V to 32V
- Each motor channel has separate DIR and PWM inputs.
- PWM control frequency of 20 kHz
- Discrete H-bridge power stage with high current
