The 3 Series 40A Lithium Battery Protection Board (11.1V to 12.6V) with a Balance function is designed for drill motors, sprayers, LED lights, and low-power inverters. It supports auto recovery and features an integrated 10 low load resistance MOS tube.

This board delivers a continuous discharge of 40A and a balanced current of 100mA. It is compatible with 3.6V and 3.7V lithium batteries (such as 18650, 26650, and polymer lithium types) with a charging voltage range of 16.8V to 18.1V. The board can handle a continuous charge current up to 20A and is ideal for devices with a start current below 80A and power requirements under 135W.

Compact in size (46 x 60 x 3.4 mm), it can be easily installed on a battery pack or in tight spaces.

  • Compatible with 3.6V and 3.7V lithium batteries (including 18650, 26650, and polymer lithium batteries).
  • Maximum continuous discharge current: 40A (reduce load current if cooling is inadequate).
  • Maximum continuous charge current: 20A.
  • Ideal for drills with a starting current under 80A and power requirements below 135W.

Note

  • For successful drill startup, use three 15C-20C power batteries or six 10C-15C power batteries (ordinary 18650 batteries cannot start the drill).
  • Follow the wiring diagram carefully: 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V, 16.8V. Avoid intentional short circuits.
  • When using a brush motor, connect a non-polar capacitor (withstand voltage >25V, capacity 10uF-100uF) across the motor’s positive and negative terminals to prevent damage from reverse spikes.
  • For 4 battery groups in series, ensure each group has the same voltage. If not, charge each battery individually before using them in series. If any battery in the group drops voltage faster during discharge, it may be defective.
