ULN2003 Stepper Motor Driver Module
This is ULN2003 Driver Module Stepper Motor Driver, small in size and easy to use. It uses the ULN2003 driver chip to amplify the control signal from the Arduino. This Ultra Lightweight and cheap option is commonly used to run and control stepper motors.
If you want to use this Stepper Motor Driver in your projects, for that you will need a few essential components like Arduino, jumper wires, stepper motors, and a power supply.
Note: The colour of the PCB may vary according to the Manufacturer
HOW TO CONTROL STEPPER MOTOR
The step motor is to a machine to convert pulse to angular displacement. So if you give stepper driver a certain pulse signal, it will drive stepper motor to a certain angle. you can control the angle the stepper moved by the number of the pulse. And you also can control the speed of the stepper rotate by the frequency of the pulse. The following picture is the schematic of the stepper driver.
The following picture is the control signal to drive a 28BYJ48 stepper to rotate 1/4096 circle.

1. What is ULN2003 motor driver?
- The ULN2003 is a popular motor driver IC that consists of an array of seven Darlington transistor pairs, each of which can drive loads of up to 500mA and 50V. On this board, four of the seven pairs are used.
2. What is the purpose of ULN2003?
- The ULN2003 IC is a popular motor driver IC that is used when we need to drive high current loads with digital logic circuits such as Op-maps, Timers, Gates, Arduino, PIC, ARM, and so on.
3. What is the difference between ULN2003 and ULN2004?
- The main distinction between the ULN2003 and the ULN2004 is the value of the resistor between the darlington transistor's input and base.
