SimonK Red 30A BLDC ESC Electronic Speed Controller with Connectors
The Simonk 30A ESC is an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) which is used to drive brushless DC drone motors and is capable of supplying current up to 30A. The 30A Simonk controller is made for quadcopters and multicopters to provide faster and better motor speed control.
This ESC 30A features a battery eliminator circuit (BEC) that provides 5V and 2A to the receiver or flight controller, so an extra battery to power those is not needed. These electronic speed controllers are best used with A2212 BLDC motors of 1000kv, 1400kv, and 2200kv.
CONNECTIONS:
- Power: Red - 7.4V to 14.8V
Black - GND - Servo: Yellow - Throttle Input
Red - 5V, 2Amp Out
Brown - GND - BLDC Motor: 3 Blue Wires - BLDC ESC Connections
Safe Power Function of the Simonk 30A ESC Motors
- High-quality MOSFETs for BLDC motor drive.
- The throttle calibration function of the Simonk ESC motor helps you to adapt to different remote throttle travel differences and improve throttle response smoothly.
- It provides low voltage protection as well as reverse polarity protection.
- It provides protection on the 5v lines.
- High-performance heat sink for better thermal management.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
1. What exactly is SimonK ESC?
- SimonK firmware is ESC (electronic speed controller) firmware developed by Simon Kirby. This firmware has been found to provide faster response than standard ESC firmware, as well as easy handling and good compatibility, all of which greatly improve multirotor performance.
2. What is a 30A ESC?
- SimonK firmware is ESC (electronic speed controller) firmware developed by Simon Kirby. This firmware has been found to provide faster response than standard ESC firmware, as well as easy handling and good compatibility, all of which greatly improve multirotor performance.
3. Is ESC considered necessary for drones?
- Drones with brushed motors and those with brushless motors both require ESCs. Multirotor drones may have an ESC for each rotor or an integrated device that controls all rotors with a single system.
4. What exactly is a Simonk 30A ESC?
- The Simonk 30A Electric Speed Controller (ESC) is a fantastic little powerful ESC that runs extremely well and does not overheat like other ESCs. This has been discovered to provide faster response than standard ESC, as well as ease of handling and compatibility, all of which greatly improve multirotor performance.
