The RFM69 series wireless communication module is intended for global free application at the 434 MHz ISM band. It is a low-power, high-bandwidth module with low cost, stability, and product consistency, capable of transmitting data packets up to 300Kbps. The module has broad applications, including daily life activities that require wireless connection, industrial control, access control, attendance, surveillance, and security industries.
The RFM69HCW variant of the module communicates with a host microcontroller using an SPI and supports up to 256 networks with 255 nodes per network. It features AES encryption for data privacy and can transmit data packets of up to 66 bytes long.
The RFM69HCW operates at 915MHz frequency and can transmit up to 100mW at 300kbps. These values can be adjusted to match specific application requirements, with an option to maximize range by increasing transmit power and reducing data rate or reducing both for short-range sensor networks with low battery consumption.
