The ADXL335 Triple-Axis Accelerometer is a breakout board for Analog Devices analog 3-axis accelerometer. The ADXL335 is a small, thin, low-power, complete 3-axis accelerometer with signal-conditioned voltage outputs. The product measures acceleration with a minimum full-scale range of ±3 g. It can measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion, shock, or vibration.
The user selects the bandwidth of the accelerometer using the CX, CY, and CZ capacitors at the XOUT, YOUT, and ZOUT pins. Bandwidths can be selected to suit the application, with a range of 0.5 Hz to 1600 Hz for the X and Y axes, and a range of 0.5 Hz to 550 Hz for the Z axis.

I was looking for an accelerometer to use in a school project and the ADXL335 fit the bill. It is a good value for the price and has worked well for the simple accelerometer experiments I've tried. The documentation provided by the manufacturer was also helpful.
I purchased the ADXL335 for a remote control airplane project and it has exceeded my expectations. The accelerometer is able to withstand the rigors of flight and provides stable readings despite the motion of the plane.
I work in a factory and we use the ADXL335 to monitor the vibration of our machines. It has been a reliable and cost-effective solution for our needs. The triple-axis measurement is also helpful for detecting vibrations in different directions
I recently used the ADXL335 in a robot I built and it worked great for detecting the orientation of the robot. The sensor was easy to interface with my microcontroller and the measurements were accurate and stable.
