Awesome little board
I absolutely loved it. It's the best among the 8266 modules. I got it as a substitute for nodemcu and ended up loving it even more.

The ESP-12E WiFi module is a miniature wireless module used for establishing a wireless network connection for microcontrollers or processors. It is based on the ESP8266EX, a high integration wireless System on Chip (SoC). The module features the ability to embed Wi-Fi capabilities to systems or function as a standalone application. It has an internal 32-bit microcontroller that can perform multiple communications and output signals. The ESP-12E WiFi module is commonly used in various applications and can be used as a WiFi-enabled replacement for an Arduino.
The ESP-12E is a miniature Wi-Fi module used for establishing a wireless network connection for microcontrollers or processors, and the core of ESP-12E is ESP8266EX, which is a high integration wireless SoC (System on Chip). On the other hand, the ESP8266EX is the actual chip that powers the ESP-12E module. The ESP-12E has more GPIO pins lead to the outside compared to the older ESP-07 and ESP-12. The ESP8266-12F is an enhanced version of the ESP8266-12E, which improves the peripheral circuit and the four laminates plate process.
The ESP-12E is a Wi-Fi module designed to facilitate wireless network connections for microcontrollers or processors. It provides a comprehensive and autonomous Wi-Fi network solution that can operate as a standalone device or be linked with a microcontroller to carry software applications. Despite having an inbuilt microcontroller capacity, it is not a microcontroller in itself. Thus, the ESP-12E is not a microcontroller but can work in tandem with one to establish Wi-Fi connectivity.
I absolutely loved it. It's the best among the 8266 modules. I got it as a substitute for nodemcu and ended up loving it even more.
It's like a better version of Arduino with Wifi and bluetooth
Works like ESP. as expected
