10K Thermistor Temperature Sensor Module(3 Pin)
Thermistor Temperature Sensor Module is very sensitive to ambient temperature. This electronic part generally used to detect the temperature of the surrounding environment. Through potentiometer adjustment, it is possible to change the temperature detection threshold.
DO output can be directly connected to the microcontroller to detect high and low, by detecting temperature changes in the environment. The temperature detection range of the module is between 20 and 80 degrees Celsius. This sensor module can be replaced with a line temperature sensor for controlling the water temperature, water tank, etc.
Generally, the 4-wire method of thermistor measurement is the most accurate because there is effectively no current flowing in either of the measurement cable wires and therefore no added resistance due to the cable wires.

1.What is temperature sensor module 3 pin?
- The 3 Pin NTC Thermistor Module is a temperature sensor module that uses a thermistor to sense the temperature of the surrounding environment and converts it to a digital and analog output. The thermistor is an abbreviation for thermal resistance, which increases and decreases in proportion to temperature.
2.What temperature should a 10K NTC thermistor be?
- This 10k NTC surface-mounted thermistor has a 5% accuracy and an operating temperature range of -55 to +125°C. It's designed for temperature compensation applications. - A wide operating temperature range of -40 to +125°C is provided.
3.How does a 10K thermistor work?
- A 10K resistor will always limit an electrical current to 10,000 ohms. A 10K thermistor, on the other hand, will only limit 10,000 ohms of current at 25°C. If the temperature is higher, say 50°C, the thermistor will only restrict 3,900 ohms.
4.What causes a thermistor to fail?
- Such failures are typically caused by mechanical separation between the resistor element and the lead material, which can be caused by handling damage, excessive heat, thermal mismatch, and other factors. The second most common failure mode is resistance value drift as the thermistor ages or parameter change.
