Sim808 GSM/GPRS Module
The SIM808 Bluetooth Compatible GSM/GPRS/GPS Development Board is designed for Arduino and Raspberry Pi compatibility. It incorporates the SIM808 module, enabling GSM communication and GPS functionality. With this board, you can easily send and receive SMS, track locations, and even create your own cell phone. The SIM808 module serves as both a GSM communicator and a GPS receiver.
The board requires a power supply of 5-26V, and when the power supply is less than 2A, a 9V power supply is necessary. It offers a direct power supply port for convenient access. For battery power supply, a lithium battery ranging from 3.5-4.2V is suitable. The board supports computer debugging through a USB-TTL connection, making it portable and user-friendly. It provides two sets of SMA antenna ports for GPS and GSM antennas. Additionally, it offers two sets of IPX ports, facilitating antenna embedding in an aluminum box. The board features a single TTL serial port, allowing for flexible switching between GPS and GSM functions.
Note: Please note that the new version will use the new AT Command for the GPS function, and use the new library. Quadband GSm850/900/1800/1900MHz, GPRS multi-slot class12 connectivity: max. 85.6kbps(down-load/up-load), GPRS mobile station class B, Controlled by AT Command (3GPP TS 27.007, 27.005 and SIMCOM enhanced AT Commands).
