The F450 Frame is the main frame. It has a 450mm diameter and is strong yet lightweight, similar to the DJI frame. This Quadcopter kit comprises four 1000Kv brushless DC (BLDC) motors. BLDC motors are commonly used in drones because of their high efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and superior power-to-weight ratio. The "Kv" rating denotes the motor's speed constant or the rotational speed per volt applied.
The kit provides four Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs), one for each motor. ESCs are essential for controlling the speed and direction of the motors. These brushless ESCs are pre-programmed from the factory, ensuring convenience and ease of use.
This is a battery charger that is compatible with 2-3 cell Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries. LiPo batteries are commonly used in drones due to their high energy density and lightweight properties.
The kit comes with a 2200mAh Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery. LiPo batteries are commonly used in drones as they provide a high energy output for their weight, allowing for longer flight times.
The Fly Sky FS-CT6B is a 6-channel 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver system. The transmitter is used to control the quadcopter, and the receiver receives the signals from the transmitter and relays them to the flight controller.
The Flight Controller is the brain of the quadcopter. It processes data from various sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, to stabilize the flight and maintain its orientation during flight. The APM 2.8 is a popular flight controller used in DIY drone projects.
The XT60 Male Connector is used for connecting the LiPo battery to the power distribution board of the quadcopter.
