1.What is a 5V relay module used for?
- The 5V relay module can be used to control a load such as a lighting system, motor, or solenoid. It can also be used to switch between AC and DC voltages. The maximum voltage and current that the 5V relay module can control are determined by the relay's specifications.
2.What is a 5V ESP8266 WiFi Relay Module?
- The ESP8266 5V Wi-Fi Relay Switch Module is a small and affordable module that requires 5V DC to operate. It comes with an onboard relay that can tolerate 110-250V AC or up to 30 V DC at 10A. The ESP8266 module allows communication through WIFI, and it has three work modes: STA (client), AP (hot), STA + AP (hot +client). This module is perfect for home automation and remote control projects. When operating the relay at 5V, it is marginally safer to use a coupler, as the ESP operates at 3.3V. The module has a diode effusion protection and a short response time
Worth of money!...
I'm using this relay board to connect my ESP8266 'NodeMCU' board with my garage door opener. It works perfectly with the 3.3V output of the ESP8266.
Thank you very much for the timely delivery after complaining about the forgotten item due to the condition being missed
I bought one from Amazon and that was not pre programmed so that didn't work.. I tried to programme it but failed... I would like to know if it needs to be programmed ??
I needed this for an IoT project that required an untethered relay
