  • Flux is used while soldering the components to the Vero board, mostly for the cleaning purpose.
  • Increases the flow of molten solder, you can easily clean the board.
  • Suitable for PCB, BGA, PGA, and SMD reworking.
  • Fast and reliable flux suitable for general purpose soldering applications for all metals except aluminium.
  • Clean and tin the soldering iron before soldering Clean the joint before applying flux to the joint.
  • If required surplus flux can be removed aft soldering with a wet cloth.

Non-Corrosive Soldering Paste Flux (500g)

This solder paste flux is ideal for soldering wide electric and electronic components & bonding will be free from faulty soldering problems. The flux has stable performance, volatile, long life cycle, the amount of Provincial, non-toxic, odorless, safe to use, and reliable.

Soldering flux paste is a very important part of soldering. Flux is necessary to reduce the oxides that tend to form whenever you have hot metals in contact with the air. In electronics, we use a rosin-core solder or a mild solder or water-soluble solder.

Note: Store in room temperature and out of reach o children. In case of contact with eyes immediately rinse with plenty water and seek medical advice. Wear protective material for hands, eyes and face for safety. In case of accident or feel unwell seek medical advice immediately.

1. Which paste is used for soldering?

  • Solder paste is a putty-like combination of a powder made of metal solder particles and a sticky flux. The flux not only cleans the soldering surfaces of impurities and oxidation but also acts as a temporary adhesive, holding the surface mount components in place.

2. Do I need soldering paste?

  • If you are working on PCB assembly projects, solder paste is essential to complete the task. The paste itself is a mixture of minute solder spheres that are held within a specialized form of paste flux.

3. What is purpose of soldering paste?

  • Solder paste is commonly used to create electrical connections and mechanical bonds between printed circuit board pads and surface mount devices such as resistors and capacitors. It's made of solder powder and flux paste.

4. What is solder paste type?

  • Various grades of solder paste are available to suit your soldering needs. It should be selected according to the type of soldering and the material to be soldered. Solder pastes are classified into different grades based on the size of the solder balls. It is not possible to measure and classify the exact size of the balls. Therefore, solder paste is graded so that 80% of the balls fit within the size band. There are three most commonly used solder pastes, Type 3, Type 4, and Type 5. Type 3 solder powders are primarily in the 25-45 µm size range. Type 4 solder powders are primarily in the 20-38 µm size range. Type 5 solder powders are primarily in the 15-25 µm size range. The soldering paste price differ based on the quantity and quality of solder flux. The solder paste price on Robocraze for 15 gram is in the range of 10 - 15 INR.
